About the temple
Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga
Trimbakeshwar is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, in Trimbak town in Nashik district, beneath the Brahmagiri hills where the Godavari rises.
By road the journey from Mumbai takes most of a day each way. By helicopter it is about 45 to 60 minutes each way — so the whole family, including elders, can complete darshan and be home the same day.
